What is live when it is 03:00 at home
Find the row nearest to where you live. The middle column is the time elsewhere at that moment, the last one says which groups to open. For a few weeks each spring and autumn the gaps move by an hour, while one country has changed its clocks and the other has not yet.

Two kinds of channel do not care what time it is anywhere. The news channels run around the clock, CNN, Sky News, Al Jazeera and NHK World among them, and film channels such as TCM, HBO and Sky Cinema Premiere carry on right through the night. If all you want is something on quietly while the rest of the house sleeps, start with those.
Catching what aired while you were out
Some channels in the line-up also carry catch-up, so a program that has already aired can be started again from its first minute. It exists only on the channels that carry it, and how far back each one reaches varies, so check your regular channels in the first few days. To use it, open the program guide (EPG), move back along that channel’s row to the slot you missed and press play; some players also gather these channels in a section of their own. A driver who was on the road through the evening news can come in at 02:00 and watch it from the top.
Every group, east to west
The list starts where the day starts, in New Zealand, and works west through Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Europe to the Americas. Each group names its better-known channels rather than all of them; inside your player the same groups run far longer, which is why searching beats scrolling. Type part of a name and the groups below narrow as you go.
