Televixy – IPTV on your own clock, from night shift to early start

TiviMate with a Televixy login: the grid, catch-up and Premium extras

TiviMate runs on Android only: Android TV, Google TV, Android boxes and Fire OS sticks, with no build for Apple, Samsung, LG or Roku. Within that limit it is the player people move to once they want a proper grid, channels down the side and hours across the top, so that at 04:30 you can scroll back to what aired at 23:00 and play it if that channel keeps an archive. The free version already gives you the grid and catch-up. Premium, bought separately, adds recording, multi-view, multiple playlists, favorites and the ability to hide groups.

Keep these within reach, whatever the hour

  • An Android TV, Google TV, Android box or Fire OS stick (the Vega OS Fire TV Stick 4K Select cannot take it)
  • Your Televixy server address, username and password
  • Optional: an Android phone for the TiviMate Companion app, if you later buy Premium

Getting it ready for the hours you watch

  1. Install it on the television device

On Android TV and Google TV, TiviMate is in the Play Store. Amazon’s store does not list it, so a Fire OS stick takes it through Downloader; the Firestick guide covers that, including where Fire OS hides Developer Options (press select 7 times on the device name under My Fire TV, About). The Fire TV Stick 4K Select runs Vega OS and cannot sideload at all.

    Pick a term, no contract

  2. Add the account as Xtream Codes

Open TiviMate, choose Add playlist and pick the Xtream Codes option. Three fields follow; fill them with the server, the username and the password exactly as the activation message gives them. Leave the M3U link aside here: the Xtream route brings live channels, the guide, catch-up and the films and series sections together, whereas a playlist link tends to carry live channels only.

  3. Name it and let the first load finish

Give the playlist a name and let TiviMate fetch the channels and guide data. The first load across 25,000+ channels takes longer than any later one. Wait until the grid shows listings before deciding anything is missing.

  4. Choose when the guide updates

The EPG section of Settings holds the update interval, a manual update and, in most versions, an option to update when the app starts; the labels shift a little between releases. If your viewing tends to begin around 01:00, a refresh every few hours plus one on start means the rows after midnight are populated when you sit down, instead of ending in blank space.

  5. Check the clock the grid is drawn on

TiviMate lays out the grid in the device’s time zone. If programs sit an hour early or late, set the Android TV or Fire OS date and time to automatic with the right zone, then reopen the app. Some versions also offer a time offset per guide source, if yours shows it.

  6. Play something that already aired

Channels with catch-up carry a small archive icon. Move left along one of their rows to an earlier program and select it to play from the start. For a fixture or a race that ended in your small hours, open it from the grid instead of tuning to the live channel, where the result is likely to be on screen.

  7. Sort out subtitles, audio tracks and sound

While a channel or film plays, press select to bring up the playback panel; audio track and subtitle choices appear there when the stream carries them. Bluetooth headphones pair in the Android TV or Fire OS settings, not inside TiviMate, which simply plays through the output the device uses. For the screen to switch off after a set time, the television’s own sleep timer is the dependable option unless your TiviMate version shows one.

  8. Decide about Premium after a week

Premium lives in a separate phone app, TiviMate Companion, which runs on Android; you pay there, not on the television, then sign in on the TV app. It adds recording, multi-view, multiple playlists, favorites and hiding groups. If you mostly watch one channel at a time and use catch-up for what you missed, the free version covers you; if you want the 03:00 race recorded to watch at 18:00, or the list trimmed to your own groups, Premium is where those live.

Sorting it out yourself at any hour

Playlist could not be loaded

Check that the server address carries http:// and its port, and that your term has not ended. Then key the password in yourself: a value lifted out of a chat window can drag a hidden trailing space with it.

Rows in the grid say no information

Run a manual update from the EPG settings and reopen the app. If most rows fill and a handful stay empty, those channels send no listings; they still play.

No archive icon on the channel you wanted

Catch-up belongs to individual channels, and that one does not keep an archive. Look for the same program on another channel in the group, or watch it live next time it airs.

Recording, favorites or group hiding are greyed out

Those belong to Premium. The free version plays live channels, shows the grid and plays catch-up, but does not record, keep a favorites row or hide groups.

TiviMate is not in the Amazon store

It is not listed there. Fire OS sticks take it through Downloader; the Fire TV Stick 4K Select, on Vega OS, cannot sideload, so use a different player on that model.

The grid slid by an hour overnight

That usually follows a daylight saving change on a device whose time zone was set by hand. Switch date and time to automatic in the Android TV or Fire OS settings and reopen TiviMate; the rows line up with what is actually playing again.

A login ready at whatever hour you get in

Message us on WhatsApp when your shift ends: activation takes under 15 minutes, a month starts at $15, and nothing renews unless you buy another term.

TiviMate, asked and answered

Is the TiviMate guide free?

Yes. With a Televixy Xtream login, the grid and catch-up both work in the free version. Premium adds recording, multi-view, multiple playlists, favorites and group hiding.

Can TiviMate record something that airs while I am at work?

With Premium, yes: schedule it from the grid and it records to storage the device can reach. Without Premium, rely on catch-up, on the channels that carry it.

Does multi-view use more than one connection?

Yes. Each picture on screen is its own stream, so two tiles need a plan with two connections and four tiles need more than that. Plans are sold for one, two, three or five connections at a time.

Can I put TiviMate on a Samsung, LG or Apple TV?

No, it is Android only. On Apple hardware use Smarters Player Lite; on Samsung and LG sets, Smart IPTV, or IPTV Smarters where the store lists it for your model.

I only open TiviMate a couple of nights a week. Will the guide be ready?

Switch on the update-on-start option if your version has it, then give the grid a minute after launch before scrolling past midnight. After several days away, run a manual update from the EPG settings first so the early-morning rows are there.

Does TiviMate show films and series too?

Yes. With the Xtream login, films and series get their own sections next to live TV, drawn from the 120,000+ titles on the account. Where a title carries alternative audio or subtitles, you choose them from the playback panel.

Is TiviMate on Google TV the same as on Android TV?

Yes. Google TV is built on Android TV, so the Play Store version is the same app with the same menus, the same free features and the same Premium extras.
