Your Xtream Codes login: three details, and what they open up

The WhatsApp message you receive when a plan goes live has three lines in it: the server address, then a username, then a password. Together they make an Xtream Codes login, a format almost every current player understands. For anyone watching at irregular hours, the format matters more than it looks. A player signed in this way asks the server for the whole account: live channels, the program guide, catch-up on the channels that carry it, and the 120,000+ films and series, each in their own section. A plain playlist link usually brings live channels alone. So whenever a player offers both, take the Xtream route.

Keep these within reach, whatever the hour

  • The activation message with your server address, username and password
  • A player with an Xtream Codes option, such as IPTV Smarters Pro, TiviMate or MyTVOnline on a Formuler
  • A copy of the three values kept somewhere safe, outside the chat

Getting it ready for the hours you watch

  1. Read the three values before typing

The server address starts with http:// and ends with a port number after a colon, for example http://example.com:8080, and the port is the last thing in the field: no slash, no extra path. The username and password are case sensitive. Most sign-ins that fail at two in the morning come down to that first field.

    Pick a term, no contract

  2. Locate the Xtream route in the app

IPTV Smarters Pro labels it Login with Xtream Codes API. TiviMate puts it under Add playlist, as Xtream Codes. Other players shorten it to Xtream, XC or API. If a player shows only an M3U or URL field, it does not speak Xtream, and the M3U guide is the one to follow.

  3. Type the values by hand at least once

Copying from a chat can carry an invisible space at the end of a line. If a sign-in fails, type each value yourself. The profile or playlist name field is only a label, and anything you like will do.

  4. Let the account build its sections

Once signed in, the player builds its sections from the server: live groups first, then the guide, then films and series. On a big account the guide can take a few minutes. Catch-up appears as its own tile in Smarters and as archive icons in the TiviMate grid, on channels that keep an archive and nowhere else.

  5. Tell the player when to refresh the guide

Listings come with the login, so there is no separate guide address to paste. What you control is how often the player fetches them again: on start, or every few hours, wherever the option exists. For someone who watches between 01:00 and 05:00, that setting is the difference between a filled grid and blank rows after midnight.

  6. Check the end date and connection count

Many Xtream players show account details, and Smarters puts the expiry date on its home screen in most versions. Plans do not renew by themselves, so glancing at that date before an overnight final saves a surprise at 03:00. The same screen often shows how many connections the account allows.

  7. Reuse the same three on the next screen

Every screen in the house takes the same login. Install it on as many devices as you like; the plan limits how many play at the same moment, at one, two, three or five connections. A bedroom stick and a lounge box playing together count as two, while one left switched off counts for nothing.

Sorting it out yourself at any hour

Invalid username or password

Usually the server field rather than the password: a missing http://, a missing port, or a slash after the port. After that, look at capitals, since both the username and the password care about them.

The guide is blank straight after signing in

On a large account the listings arrive after the channels. Give it a few minutes, then run the player’s guide refresh. Channels that send no listings stay blank but still play.

There is no catch-up anywhere

First check the player supports it: Smarters has a Catch Up tile and TiviMate marks archive channels with an icon, but some simpler players ignore archives even with an Xtream login. Then make sure you are looking at a channel that keeps one.

A film plays without subtitles

Subtitles travel with the title, not with the login. Open the player’s track options while it plays; if no subtitle track is listed, that title simply does not carry one.

Live channels work, films and catch-up are empty

The account was probably added with the playlist link, or through an M3U option. Remove it and add it again as an Xtream login, and the sections fill in.

The player says the connection limit is reached

Another screen is already playing on a plan with fewer connections, or a device elsewhere was left on a channel. Stop playback there. If it keeps happening, a plan with more connections suits the household better.

There is no Xtream field, only a URL box

Some older or simpler players take playlists and nothing else. The M3U link in the same message points to the same account; expect mainly live channels through it.

Other players that take the same login

A login ready at whatever hour you get in

Message us on WhatsApp when your shift ends: activation takes under 15 minutes, a month starts at $15, and nothing renews unless you buy another term.

Xtream Codes login, asked and answered

Why does an Xtream login show catch-up when the M3U link does not?

With the Xtream format, the player can ask the server which channels keep an archive and which films and series exist, and build sections around them. A playlist is a flat list of streams that usually describes live channels, so the player has nothing to build catch-up from.

Is the Xtream login the same account as my M3U link?

Yes, the same account in different packaging. The M3U link carries the same username and password inside a web address, so anyone holding either one can use your plan. Keep both private.

What happens to my login when the term ends?

It stops working on the end date, because nothing renews automatically. Buy another term on WhatsApp and the same details are normally active again in under 15 minutes, with your players keeping their settings.

Can one login sit in two players on the same TV?

Yes. Keep Smarters and TiviMate both signed in on one Android box and open whichever you prefer that night. Only the number of streams playing at once is limited.

Does a MAG box use an Xtream login?

No. A MAG signs in with its MAC address against a portal, as the MAG and Formuler guide explains. A Formuler can use either the portal or an Xtream login inside MyTVOnline.

Which players take an Xtream login?

IPTV Smarters Pro (Smarters Player Lite on Apple), TiviMate and MyTVOnline on Formuler boxes are the ones covered in these guides, and many other Android players carry the option too. Smart IPTV and VLC do not; they use the M3U link instead.

Why a server address and a port, rather than an ordinary web link?

The address points the player at the server that holds your account, and the port is the specific entrance on that server the player uses. It needs both to reach you; leaving the port off is the most common reason a login is refused.

Can I add a new device at three in the morning?

Yes. The details are the same for every device, so you can add a screen whenever suits you. If anything is unclear, the support desk on WhatsApp works 24/7.

Do I need a separate guide link with an Xtream login?

No. Players that take an Xtream login fetch the listings from the same server on their own. A separate XMLTV address only matters in playlist players such as Kodi’s IPTV Simple Client.
